About Me

The History Lover’s Guidebook was created for people whose guilty pleasure is history. It’s a guide to the internet and world at large for history fanatics like me!

I have always been interested in History, right from when I was small. I remember my teacher asking us in year 7 who wanted to do history at university, and I was the only one who put up my hand (I think she was joking!). I’ve done a variety of jobs, including working at Westminster Abbey, the National Railway Museum and the Natural History Museum. I’m trying to stay in the Museum industry at the moment, and I really hope I can help anyone else trying to break into the industry as well!

History is everything. It teaches us about our past, our present and our future, and is unbelievably fun to explore.
